PHILIPSBURG:--- The preliminary round of the Scotiabank Rotary-Rotaract Spelling Bee 2016 was held on Sunday 16th October at the Belair Community Center. This is the sixth time the Spelling Bee is being held and was started by the late President Ramesh Manek in 2011.
This year seventeen schools participated, fifteen schools from St. Maarten and two schools from Anguilla.
